How it works?

StockPriceCatalyst is a news-analysis software tool designed to help investors with their own research on the U.S. stock market, including those who follow companies on a short- to medium-term horizon (about 30 to 60 days). Company press releases can be associated with later price moves, so organizing that news is often part of an investor’s own due diligence. This tool does not provide trading recommendations, investment advice, or signals to buy or sell.

Our platform helps with the task of reviewing thousands of daily news items by collecting and storing over 10 years of historical news and price data. It uses AI to compare current press releases against past patterns that were followed by significant price moves within the following 7 days, then generates detailed reports explaining why a particular news item might (or might not) resemble those historical cases. Subscribers can use the reports in their own review process — they are not trading recommendations — and focus on the time window they already use, without reading every release by hand.

Core Features for Your Research Workflow

These four features are the backbone of the tool, built for investors who follow the U.S. stock market and want help organizing company news. They surface press releases that historically resembled price catalysts for the companies you track, and they cut the hours of manual reading. The aim is to reduce noise so you can review what may matter for your own analysis. Subscribe to access the research reports and data.

AI-Powered Corporate News Analysis

Our tool uses artificial intelligence to scan press releases from nearly 3,000 companies listed on NASDAQ, NYSE, and AMEX (market caps over $1 billion) each day. We skip ETFs and funds and focus on operating companies. Instead of reading hundreds of releases by hand, you get a structured summary of items classified as potential catalysts in light of historical 7-day price moves. Key Benefit: A research layer on public news and historical patterns — not a broker recommendation and not a prediction of future prices.

Historical Catalyst Database

We’ve compiled a decade of data from U.S. companies, cataloging published news and the price movements that followed. We classify as “catalysts” only those past events that were followed by price changes of over 20% within 7 days. From that set we extract recurring keywords and phrases. When new news appears, the system compares it with those historical cases. Key Benefit: The comparison is based on public historical data. It does not reduce investment risk and it does not tell you when to enter a position.

Automated News Ranking

Every company press release is evaluated. If it contains historical keywords, our AI compares it with past classified catalysts, reviews related public discussion, and looks at the company’s communication frequency (used here as a research metric). If it meets the criteria, we generate a detailed report with a summary, historical context, and possible relevance. Key Benefit: Filters out most of the daily noise so you can spend your research time on items such as new contracts or earnings news, as part of your own analysis.

Tailored Reports for Your Own Review

Our reports don’t just flag classified items; they summarize the company’s recent public picture, including implied financial ratios and communication trends. That is meant to sit alongside your own fundamental and technical analysis — not to replace it or to tell you whether to enter a position. Key Benefit: A shorter path from watchlist to your own notes. Reports are available in English and Spanish.

Daily Market Snapshot + Targeted Catalysts in our Private Telegram channel

Receive a clear, professional daily briefing on the U.S. stock market delivered straight to your Telegram. In addition to the broad market overview and sector analysis (highlighting the strongest and weakest sectors of the day along with the 5 most relevant companies in each), you also get a focused list of companies from those same sectors and industries that have released news classified as potential stock price catalysts. Every day we review news across the entire U.S. market, but we only surface the most relevant potential catalysts tied directly to the industries and sectors showing strength or weakness that day. This gives you, in one report: • A market and sector overview, including companies often watched in those groups. • A focused list of press releases classified as potential catalysts in the sectors that showed relative strength or weakness that day. These lists are for research review, not trade ideas.

Research Features for Your Workflow

These functions are built to save reading time and keep company news organized. On the dashboard you can get alerts, download files, and track companies automatically. The goal is a research workflow you can personalize — not a substitute for your own analysis and not a way to “boost profits.”

Daily Research List: Press Releases Classified for Review

Every morning (Tuesday through Saturday, processed at midnight), receive a comprehensive list of the previous day’s news classified as potential catalysts. Download it in Excel or subscribe via RSS to integrate it into your workflow. Key Benefit: See in one list the previous day’s press releases classified for review, without searching them by hand. Classification is not a forecast of which stocks will move.

My WatchList: Your Personalized Tracking Tool

Easily add or remove companies from your watchlist and filter only the catalysts relevant to them in daily reports. Access via Excel or RSS. Key Benefit: Alerts limited to the companies you added, so daily reports stay focused on your list and save reading time.

Following MyWatchlist: Automated Monitoring Every 3 Days

Track your key companies effortlessly. Every three days, our tool checks for updates on the press releases you’ve flagged and generates updated reports if there are changes from prior analyses. Key Benefit: You do not have to re-check by hand. The tool looks again every three days and issues an updated report if the public picture has changed — for example news frequency or new regulatory items — so you can review developments in your own process.

Communication Frequency as a Health Indicator

We analyze each company’s publication patterns: more frequent news often signals smooth, positive operations. This metric is included in all historical reports. Key Benefit: An extra research metric next to your fundamental work. Lower publication frequency is not proof of a hidden problem, and higher frequency is not proof of a healthy company.

Daily Market Snapshot + Targeted Catalysts

Private access to our Telegram channel with daily market snapshot and our potential catalysts reports. All presented in a clean, easy-to-read format optimized for mobile, based on real-time data. Built for investors who want a daily market snapshot and research summaries of news classified as potential catalysts, without reading every release.

Real Time Press Releases: News as It Happens Upcoming

Access new corporate press releases as they are collected, via email and official website subscriptions. Export to Excel or RSS. Key Benefit: See announcements such as mergers or quarterly results in the same research workspace, instead of hunting them across sites. This is news access, not a window in which to place a trade.

Real Time Catalyst: Instant Impact Analysis Upcoming

As new items arrive, the system compares them with historical data and public discussion, classifies them if they meet the criteria, and adds them to the research list. Key Benefit: Faster organization of raw news into a structured report for your own review — not an “actionable” trade alert and not a way to maximize returns.
